Tecnubel undertakes on-site decontamination and dismantling at nuclear power plants, fuel cycle and research sites, together with associated waste packaging. These activities can generate components which are too large, too complex or too heavily contaminated for recycling or disposal facilities to accept without further work. Therefore, Tecnubel has opened a Materials Handling Centre at Villers-le-Bouillet near Liège in Belgium to provide essential second tier support services to nuclear site projects.
Tecnubel’s skilled and motivated team operates a licensed facility that offers flexible logistics, interim buffer storage and industrial processes to provide safe and affordable solutions to complex recycling challenges.
Examples of solutions already delivered:
Tecnubel can be your “rip and ship” partner, allowing you to focus on dismantling while Tecnubel organises transport, size reduction, decontamination, recycling and return of wastes. Larger components are welcome.
